Your doctor will decide during your consultation whether you are a good candidate for this plastic surgery after examining the skin around jawline, the neck, and the face in general.

Our board-certified doctors’ surgical goal is to revive the youthful features by restoring the shape, fullness and projection of the face and contour of the neck while minimizing visible scars.

Your doctor may perform a series of different procedures involving the lifting, tightening and re-positioning of the underlying tissues, as well as re-draping and excising the lax and redundant skin of the face and neck.

To complement and compliment this procedure, ancillary fat grafting may be performed.

The whole procedure is an in-and- out surgery, where you will be able to go home on the first or second day after the operation.
The next day, you will be able to remove the dressings and replace them with a special bandage.
You are also advised to rest and avoid physical strain, to allow the swelling and bruising to subside at ease.

Some numbness, tightness or tingling sensations may surface in your face and neck which will lessen as you heal.

Your final result will be achieved in about 3 months, however the zones from which the skin was detached may feel slightly hardened; this is perceptible to the touch, but not visible. The ears will not regain normal sensitivity for one or two months.
