Facial lines and wrinkles form as a result of genetic and environmental factors.

What is BOTOX®?

What is Profhilo®?

It is a revolutionary type of injectable rejuvenation treatment that deeply hydrates and lifts the skin. It is an anti-aging hydration treatment that contains high levels of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring compound that helps improve tone, texture, and elasticity.

Who can benefit from Profhilo®?

As we age, the presence of hyaluronic acid in the skin naturally starts to drop, which causes the skin to lose its natural firmness and elasticity. Most people begin to see the effects of hyaluronic acid depletion as they reach their 30s – and Profhilo® is the perfect treatment for anyone looking to counteract this.

Which areas can be treated?

Profhilo® is usually injected into the skin by our medical staff in five key facial areas:

  • Upper cheeks
  • Side of the face
  • Lines around the mouth (nasolabial folds and laughter lines)
  • Neck area
  • Chest, hands, and knees

      You’re not overweight nor obese,
      it might be Lipedema!

Lipedema is a condition by which fat gets unevenly distributed in an irregular manner under the skin, typically in the abdomen, hips, upper buttocks, thighs, knees, and calves.

      Lipedema Nodules and Treatment

You probably didn’t know or were simply misdiagnosed

There is a strong causal relationship between the development of Lipedema and hereditary or hormonal factors.

In most cases, Lipedema usually goes misdiagnosed as morbid obesity or Lymphedema. Meanwhile, medical research suggests a strong causal relationship between the development of Lipedema and hereditary or hormonal factors such as puberty, pregnancy, and stress.

Meet Dr. Harrane, an expert in treating Lipedema

His expertise currently encompasses an array of surgical procedures and he brings to the table professionalism, ethics, and attention to detail.

Lymphatic Sparing liposuction is a “Game Changer”:

It has been agreed on by Lipedema medical experts that lymphatic sparing liposuction achieves the best results compared to other treatment techniques.

It is also thought preferable, as it can be performed without general anesthesia, reducing recovery time with no extra cost.

Learn more about  Dr. Schwartz’s own anesthesia protocol for his Schwartz Rapid Recuperation™.

Manual Lipedema Extraction (MLE): Extracting the very last of “Lipedema Pearls”.

Lipedema patients notice the formation of nodules or Lipedema pearls that can grow to be as firm and as big as a golf ball!

At this point, liposuction alone is not sufficient to remove the most of Lipedema fat, due to cannula size. Here MLE steps in to extract these fibrous fat nodules through incision sites without harming surrounding structures like the nerves, skin, and tissues.

After the lymphatic sparing liposuction procedure, nodules will become more apparent, requiring massaging similar to a deep Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD).

Don’t live in the dark! Here’s your guide to Lipedema.

      Before and After Liposuction

How to spot Lipedema Fat? What are the symptoms?

Unlike regular fat cells, Lipedema adipose cells are usually fluid-filled and have abnormal growth patterns. This results in a thicker skin consistency – what is called nodules –  as well as changes in skin size, color, shape, and texture. The growth is eventually seen as folds and flaps hanging over the skin, medial knee fat pad, and swelling in the legs and feet.

It’s not just a matter of looks!

If you have Lipedema, you know that it’s really not just about those flaps and folds. In fact,  Lipedema patients suffer from far more severe symptoms of which are chronic pain and pressure, skin sensitivity, skin bruising, swelling, immobility, and chronic fatigue or malaise.

      A 10- to 15-minutes outpatient procedure!

Carboxytherapy is a simple medico-aesthetic procedure in which a sterile medical CO2 gas is infused under the skin in several areas of the body. It’s an old technique used by doctors for the first time in France in 1932. A series of consecutive sessions is guaranteed to give you results that can last for up to 6 months.

      How does it work?

Carbon Dioxide is present naturally in the body. Injecting it under the skin enhances the blood circulation to increase the oxygen in the treated areas. When CO2 gas is injected under the skin, your body reacts to what it believes is oxygen deficiency causing more blood to flow into this area to supply it with the needed oxygen.

      carboxy Does it hurt?
Carboxytherapy is considered as a quick treatment; between 10 and 15 minutes. Silkor’s trained professional will use a very minute caliber needle (less than 0.3 mm) to inject an adequate amount of CO2 gas where you may feel a bit of pressure while the gas spreads under your skin. The process is very simple; there is no recovery period or pre-operative technique as there is no anesthesia involved in the session. Some people might think that Carboxytherapy requires pain management after the session. Wrong! You will not even need a single pill of painkillers!

      Any side effects?

Surprisingly, the process has the least side effects when compared to other methods. The possible side effects are redness and numbness of the skin at the area of injection.

      Carboxytherapy treats the below conditions:

      STRETCH MARKS Expand

      Is it suitable for you?

Carboxytherapy can help you hide scars and stretch marks. It can increase the amount of fibroblasts at the site of the stretch mark. Fibroblasts are the source of collagen fibers that are responsible for the elasticity of the skin.

You need between 10 and 15 sessions depending on your case noting that new red stretch marks respond better to the treatment than old white stretch marks with a maximum of 60% guaranteed results.

For a better performance, it’s recommended to combine it with mesotherapy for stretch marks.
