November is the month of prostate awareness, men raise it by growing their beards or moustaches – Movember.
Silkor is a brand that pioneered laser hair removal for 25 years and counting, in the Middle East, a very hairy region.
However, during this Month, Silkor wanted to join in on the movement and raise awareness, even though it goes against its most-selling service; laser hair removal; by “Shaving the Taboo, while growing breads” for men.
Self-care for men is a taboo (well, at least in the area for now) has been and is slowly being shaved… from existence.
Toxic masculinity bounces off the walls of our social media – paving the way for men to feel “ok” for getting a facial and feeling amazing, getting a pedicure for hygiene purposes and well, aesthetic purposes.
Silkor wanted to empower this by amplifying the rest of its services for men…
Like, Botox, Facials, Plastic Surgeries, and even Slimming services – during this month, we stand strong with the cause, kindly asking you to let it grow, but while you’re doing that don’t forget yourself.
“Shaving the Taboo during No-shave November” – is a double cause one for the awareness of prostate cancer and the other for men to feel free from the chains of masculinity – because at the end of the day, health is genderless – everyone has the right to great health and well-being.
That being said, let’s kick off November with a double cause, for, you know and I know that health is wealth.
