Dr. Emad Hamdi Joins Silkor: A New Chapter of Aesthetics

We’re thrilled to officially welcome our newest addition to the Silkor family — Dr. Emad Hamdi, aesthetic doctor and facial architect (yep, we said it). With a unique approach to treatments, deep industry knowledge, and a philosophy that blends art with science, Dr. Emad is here to take your glow to the next level. Joining forces alongside our incredible team of experts, he brings fresh techniques and a passion for results that look as natural as they feel.

To help you get to know him better (and understand why we’re this excited), we sat down for a quick Q&A about aesthetics, trends, myths, and skincare wisdom. Here’s what he had to say:

1. Let’s start with the full-face approach. What is it, and why is it so important?

According to Dr. Emad, it’s all about harmony. The full-face approach, also known as profile balancing or profileplasty, focuses on enhancing your entire facial structure rather than chasing one small change at a time.

“I don’t necessarily need to dissolve old filler unless there are issues. If the structure is good, we can define or finesse small areas—front, 45-degree, side profile, even how the face looks when lifted or tilted down,” he explains. “For patients who haven’t done filler before but are starting to feel sagging or lack of contour—we can bring back that lift, definition, and glow using the right techniques.”

2. Which treatments do patients get most excited about?

The surprising ones!

“People are always intrigued when I recommend injecting areas they didn’t even know could be treated—like the temples,” he shares. “When I tell them that adding volume there can open up the eyeshadow space and give an eye lift, they’re shocked. Same for the forehead—it’s not common, but adding a subtle convexity can make a woman look instantly younger and more refreshed.”

3. Botox and Volite: They’re both injectables—so what makes them different?

“I actually love combining them,” Dr. Emad says. “Botox works on expression lines—think forehead, crow’s feet—and it gives this unexpected glow that no one can quite explain. Volite, on the other hand, is all about hydration. It’s not for volume, but for quality—it deeply hydrates the skin, improves texture, and gives the face a younger, plumper appearance.”

When done together, you get glow + hydration—a dream team that can last 3–6 months.

4. Cellulite treatment is everywhere right now. What should we really expect?

Real talk: Cellulite isn’t totally curable everywhere—but it is treatable.

“We use a method that breaks down the fibrous bands causing dimpling, and then stimulate collagen using certain products,” he explains. “When done right and in the correct number of sessions, the treated area won’t show cellulite again. But yes—untreated areas can still develop it.”

5. Biggest myth in aesthetics? Go.

“Oh, so many,” Dr. Emad laughs.

  • If I do filler, my face will puff up!” Nope. That’s just bad technique or product.

  • If I dissolve my cheek filler, my cheeks will sag!” Also nope. Dissolving doesn’t make your skin fall.

  • Botox will make me look frozen.” Again, no. When done right, Botox softens harsh expressions, it doesn’t erase your personality.

6. How do you tailor treatments for different skin types or concerns?

Customization is key.

“It depends on the skin itself and how often the patient can come in. I like to combine treatments—like fractional laser, microneedling, or Morpheus8—with healing boosters like exosomes,” Dr. Emad shares. “They accelerate recovery and improve results. Plus, at-home skincare is so important—Vitamin C, hydration, and even internal water intake all affect how your skin responds to treatments.”

7. What advice would you give someone who’s new to aesthetic treatments?

“Don’t believe everything you see on TikTok.”

Dr. Emad is passionate about patient education. “A lot of influencers go viral sharing skincare or treatment advice—but they’re not certified, and much of it is misleading or flat-out wrong. Even some doctors share misinformation. Always trust licensed professionals with the proper training and background.”
