HArmonyCa™ is an advanced hybrid injectable treatment that combines the instant lifting power of hyaluronic acid (HA) with the long-term collagen-stimulating benefits of calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA). Developed by Allergan Aesthetics, it offers a unique approach to facial rejuvenation by restoring lost volume while encouraging your skin to rebuild its natural support structure over time.

Unlike traditional fillers that focus mainly on adding volume, HArmonyCa™ also helps improve skin firmness, elasticity, and overall quality by stimulating your body’s natural collagen production. The formula also contains lidocaine to make the treatment more comfortable during injection.

It is an excellent option for patients experiencing mild to moderate facial volume loss or early skin laxity who want natural-looking, longer-lasting results without surgery.

HArmonyCa™ works in two stages, giving you both immediate and progressive results.

Instant Lift

As soon as it’s injected, the hyaluronic acid restores volume, enhances facial contours, and provides an immediate lifting effect in areas affected by volume loss.

Collagen Stimulation

The calcium hydroxyapatite microspheres gradually stimulate fibroblasts to produce new Type I collagen. Over the following weeks and months, your skin becomes firmer, denser, and more elastic as new collagen naturally develops.

This dual-action approach allows you to enjoy immediate improvement while your skin continues to enhance itself over time.

Results typically continue to improve over 3 to 6 months and may last approximately 12 to 18 months, depending on individual factors.

HArmonyCa™ is designed to restore facial structure while improving skin quality. It is commonly recommended for patients with early signs of facial aging who are looking for subtle lifting and long-lasting rejuvenation.

HArmonyCa™ is generally intended for the mid and lower face, including the lateral cheeks, jawline, and surrounding support areas. It is not typically used for the lips, tear troughs, forehead, glabella, or superficial fine lines.

Before Your Treatment

Do:

• Schedule a consultation to assess your facial anatomy and treatment goals.
• Inform your provider about your medical history, allergies, and any medications or supplements you take.
• Stay well hydrated before your appointment.

Don’t:

• Undergo treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Receive treatment if you have an active skin infection or inflammation in the treatment area.
• Proceed if you have known allergies to hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxyapatite, lidocaine, or related anesthetics without discussing this with your doctor.

After Your Treatment

Do:

• Apply cold compresses if mild swelling occurs.
• Follow all aftercare instructions provided by your practitioner.
• Contact the clinic if swelling, redness, pain, or lumps persist longer than expected.

Don’t:

• Touch or massage the treated area unless instructed by your provider.
• Exercise intensely for the first 24–48 hours.
• Visit saunas, steam rooms, or expose yourself to excessive heat or direct sun during the first 24–48 hours.
• Drink excessive alcohol during the initial recovery period.
